Once a week we host a meeting at our home, where everyone is invited to participate in an "evolutionary conversation", "Bohm-dialogue" or whatever we choose to call it. The concept is simple: One hour, where we begin with a short meditation and then try to talk without (too much) egos - just trying in community to get where the energy and flow brings us.
We have done so for half a year, and now we wanted to try something new. We would try to see how it would be to "cook without egos" - no plans, no expectations, no talking (even not non-verbally) - just some ingredients and the common energy and flow.
It was a lot of fun. Every time I cook, I have a plan. This time I had absolutely no idea where we were going. Each of us had bought a few ingredients. Potatos, cappage, sugar, eggs etc.
Each of started our individual projects, but it soon became clear that we had to take part in each oterhs projects. And drop the ownership of any projects.
We ended up with a fantastic meal. Pictures here:

Next time can I come?
yes, please :-)

Yes, sure - ask anything. We had a lot of fun, and are certainly going to do it again. There are few things that are more difficult to do together in silence with strangers: raising kids and assembling furniture from Ikea are a few of them.
When there are as many cooks as mouths to feed, everybody can’t work all the time. There simply isn’t that much to be done - but it isn’t easy just watching the others working, you easily end up feeling kind of lazy.
Another point could be to make a limit to the time each cook may spend with a dish - otherwise it tends to becomes one dish per person. Next time we will set a limit at 10 minutes.
And next time I think I will start something that takes a bit of preparation. Homemade pasta, fx - just start the thing and then leave it, hoping that someone else will take over.
I saw the beautiful harvest from your garden. You certainly have the ingredients for a fantastic meal there :-)
If you share your future experiences I’ll be happy to see!
Hanging wall paper, yes!! - I have to add that to my list.
I forgot to mention that we had excluded use of meat. Meat tends to dominate any dish, and most of us were vegetarians anyway. I think it will be more difficult with meat.
It’s a great idea for teambuilding, even more if people can’t speak the same language :)
ooh yum! What a lovely idea!

Hi Knud, This looks like a wonderful idea. I live in Denmark too, so I would like to come by sometime with my wife and participate.
We both have a spiritual outlook on life, and we are mostly vegatarian and mostly vegan.
If you want to see what I do in Denmark, you can go here Latterkursus
